Part of the Fluor Public Assistance Program, The insurance specialist must be highly experienced in all aspects of commercial insurance. The specialist must have the ability to multi-task by interpreting and applying the applicants insurance policies (specifically NFIP) to ensure that duplication of benefits do not exist on the insurable properties and be able to perform quality control assurance eligibility reviews on numerous projects. The specialist must have a background and experience in calculating insurance apportionments and have experience on large projects encompassing multiple facility and insurance policies with large policy limits.
Requirements –
First Level Insurance Specialist- Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with 2 years in a documented insurance specialist role involving commercial claims or government insurance AND be NFIP certified.
Second Level Insurance Specialist– Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with 5 years in a documented insurance specialist role involving commercial claims or government insurance AND be NFIP certified. OR 10 years above field of expertise and be NFIP certified.
Third Level Insurance Specialist- Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with 10 years in a documented insurance specialist role involving commercial claims or government insurance AND be NFIP certified OR 15 years in above field of expertise and be NFIP certified.
