Part of the Fluor Public Assistance Program, Cost Estimators, evaluate large projects as defined by 44 CFR Part 206 using the Cost Estimating Format, and develop and provide the recommended project cost based on the Cost Estimating Format method used in determining cost of projects as outlined in Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000.
Requirements –
First Level - Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with 2 years in a documented cost estimator role involving commercial claims or government insurance OR 5 years in above field of expertise
Second Level – Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with 5 years in a documented cost estimator role involving commercial claims or government insurance OR 10 years in above field of expertise
Third Level - Educational requirements are an undergraduate degree from an accredited university with 10 years in a documented cost estimator role involving commercial claims or government insurance OR 15 years in above field of expertise
